Danni & Nicholas Married | Featured

Last September, I had the honor of sharing in Danni & Nicholas’ special day. I can’t begin to tell you how beautiful the wedding was, my pictures don’t even do their wedding justice. I’m just posting to share a few of the images that I took through out the day. What I’m really thrilled about is letting you all know that more of my images from Danni & Nicholas’ wedding are featured on a blog I personally love!

Last month, Reinna and I ran into Megan at the Hitched Event in Palm Springs. Mind you, I’ve been following Megan’s blog for a while, so when Reinna & I met her we were so thrilled to have hit it off so well! Megan is such a sweetheart and her blog is as equally sweet! So head on over to Forget Me Knot Weddings Blog and see the rest of my photos documenting Danni & Nicholas’ gorgeous wedding! I’m so glad that my first real feature is on her blog, when you head over there you’ll fall in love with her blog too. Trust me!

Enjoy.

My Birthday Weekend | Featured

Well, it’s my birthday today! What better way to spend a part of my birthday with you all by sharing a few things that happened this weekend.

I just want to thank Grace and the ladies at Design*Sponge for featuring Danni’s Wedding on their INCREDIBLE blog. I am so very honored.

I would also like to thank the wonderful girls at 100 Layer Cake for putting up a photo from Danni’s wedding on their Bits & Pieces post again.

AND OF COURSE, I would like to thank one of the biggest blogging sweethearts, Danni and her husband Nick, for asking me to share their special day with them.

How can I forget  Mama Cakies and the Bratchers? Thanks so much Ruby & Ben for asking me to take your family portraits. (For those of you who don’t know, Ruby is preggers again!) I always love spending time with you all and I can’t wait till the little one in the oven pops out! Aren’t Ruby’s daughters the cutest bunch? I may be a bit biased, but then again. I may not be!

It definitely was an amazing way to start off my birthday weekend. I can’t tell you all how incredibly blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life. Now that my birthday is here, I can’t wait to… spend it at school and work. Yep, that’s how it’s going to be this year! Thanks so much for spending some time with me on my birthday reading this post. It honestly means a lot to me.

I will be blogging about these events within the next few weeks. What I’m thrilled about is that there will be one last feature for Danni & Nick’s wedding. It’s going to be featured on a gorgeous blog that I personally love and it’s someone Reinna and I just adore! So check back in on Wednesday to find out who that is exactly! Hope everyone is enjoying their start of the week, I know I am!

Valentine’s Day | Personal

With the busyness of this new year, Reinna and I have noticed that time is flying by faster and faster. This week/weekend was so hectic that we didn’t have enough time to do much for Valentine’s Day this year. So I sent Reinna a text message during her last class period telling her to come to my house after because I had something for her. It wasn’t anything big, but I still wanted to do something for her, especially since she’s leaving the country next this week. She’ll be gone for the rest of the month and won’t be back until the second week of March. So I had her come over, I set up a little something for lunch, wrote her a card and made her her favorite lunch. She always likes it when I make her patty melts with sunny side up eggs, so that’s what I did. We had a such a great time together as I ended up calling off of work and just spending the day with her. We talked all day over lunch about how excited she is for her mission trip, we ran errands together, and now we’re going to bake and watch chick-flicks all night! Hope everyone is having a great Monday. You don’t have to have someone to celebrate all the love in your life.

Happy Monday | Personal

I’m slowing getting use to my new schedule this semester. Things are still hectic, but I’m managing to get things done with school and photography. I updated my blog finally. I also changed a few things on here. Can you notice them? Anyhow, one of my portrait sessions this weekend consisted of taking some photos of the utterly beautiful Reinna Sherie. It’s always fun working with her. Here’s one of the images from our shoot.

I love this photo for so many reasons. Most of all, because it’s of the one I love. Enjoy.

Have a great week!

Michelle & Dustin | Engagement

Last Year, I had the privilege of photographing Michelle & Dustin. Such a sweet and beautiful couple. Their wedding is in May and I wish them nothing but the best on their special day.
