For Those of You Who Didn’t Know | Personal

I can’t believe that it’s been almost 3 months since my last post. Things have definitely been hectic this season, mainly because…

I’M ENGAGED! I proposed to my girlfriend Reinna Sherie & I am beyond blessed to be able to call her my fiance. I’m thrilled for the day to come when I can finally call Reinna my wife. So much to say about the engagement and all the blessings that have transpired over the past few months, but here is just a quick little post for now. We are definitely excited to  be in this new season of our lives. We honestly could not be where we are today without the faithfulness and graciousness of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are so undeserving of all that He has done, is doing & will continue to do for us. Day after day we see Him at work in our lives and those around us. We are beyond blessed and we just can’t wait to share our blessings with all of you! The next post will be of our engagement, so if you want to know how I popped the question, keep checking in for that post!

We are leaving the country this Tuesday, as we head to Singapore & Cambodia, and we won’t be back until August 6th. So emails, editing & new posts will be very slow, if not on hold, until we return. We’re heading out with a small team from our church to visit different churches, orphanages, Bible colleges & communities to help with whatever we can. Please pray for us to be filled with the Spirit as we go with great expectation for God to do amazing things with such a hungry people. Your continuous thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated as we will be gone for nearly a month.

I just want to take a moment to thank our incredibly wonderful & talented friends for these precious images below. We can’t thank Max & Margaux enough for all these beautiful images & the opportunity to spend time with them during their amazing workshop with Our Labor of Love. Thank you so much for honestly making some of our dreams come true! These images & the time spent with you all are more than we could have ever asked for! You two are truly kind, generous, loving & AMAZING people. Thank you for all that you’ve done for us through out the years. You’ve blessed us more than you could ever know and we are honored to be able to call you our friends.

Spring is flying by | Personal

I can’t believe how fast Spring is flying by. So much has happened in the last month, but there is so much more to come before the end of this month. This summer is, by far, going to be the craziest summer I will experience and I honestly can’t wait for it! So many weddings, so many engagements, so much traveling, and oh so much love! I honestly can’t thank God enough for all the blessings that have been filling up these last few weeks, let alone all that is in store for the next few months. These are some crazy times, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here are a few images from just a few of the events that’ve happened within the last few weeks. So excited for Claudia & Ivan’s wedding this weekend. The fun never ends!

Esther & Brendan | Engagement | Los Angeles, CA

Also, congratulations to my cousins Steven & Jackie for having their first child this past week. Love you three with all my heart.

For Japan With Love | Personal

It has been one week since the 9.0 earthquake and following tsunami struck Japan. Many of us have seen the images and videos of the tragic devastation that occurred in Japan. I cannot even begin to comprehend the loss and the hurt that those in Japan have felt through out this time. I know that as a lover of humanity, I cannot just follow the events in Japan and simply pray for the nation’s recovery. As a Christian, I am not only to intercede in prayer for those who are in need of it, but I am to be compelled by the love Christ has for me to do more than just pray. I am called to show Christ’s love through more than just words, but though action by mourning with those who mourn, hurting with those who hurt, and by simply doing whatever I can to help those in need. It is clear that the need in Japan is great, but regardless of whatever our beliefs are, we are part of humanity and should do whatever we can to help those affected by the devastation in Japan.

Today, March 18, I will be joining with thousands of other bloggers in a day of silence. Those involved will not post anything in the aim to just raise awareness and respect by acknowledging the devastation going on in Japan. If you are looking to get involved, the wonderful ladies at Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours have joined with Shelter Box USA to raise money for boxes containing provisions for families affected in Japan. To find out more about how you can get involved, please visit forjapanwithlove.

It’s so incredibly encouraging to see such a wonderful community coming together to help another community that is in desperate need of our help. Reinna and I have donated, but are continuing to encourage our friends, family and the few readers we have to join in this community’s efforts to help make a meaningful difference for those in Japan.

Happy Monday | Personal

Happy Monday indeed. My girlfriend has been on a missions trip in the Philippines for the last two and a half weeks, but now she’s back. I’m so glad that she was able to go and experience all that she did. I can see that she has definitely grown and reevaluated herself during her quick trip to the islands. I hear it in her talk and see it in her walk. She’ll be posting about all of her stories soon. They are all so touching, so you’ll want to check in on it! For now, here’s a picture(s) of us. This is what happens when we don’t see each other for a long time, we take a bunch of pictures together!

I’m excited to say that I’m working with Reinna and teaching her all I know about photography. Hoping that someday, we can turn my business into a love-team! I think she has an awesome eye, awesome enough to take my picture and post it in the “about me” section of this blog! See for yourself! She’s great! Sorry this post is all over the place right now.

Have a wonderful week! Wedding season starts for me this week! If I thought I was busy now…

Danni & Nicholas Married | Featured

Last September, I had the honor of sharing in Danni & Nicholas’ special day. I can’t begin to tell you how beautiful the wedding was, my pictures don’t even do their wedding justice. I’m just posting to share a few of the images that I took through out the day. What I’m really thrilled about is letting you all know that more of my images from Danni & Nicholas’ wedding are featured on a blog I personally love!

Last month, Reinna and I ran into Megan at the Hitched Event in Palm Springs. Mind you, I’ve been following Megan’s blog for a while, so when Reinna & I met her we were so thrilled to have hit it off so well! Megan is such a sweetheart and her blog is as equally sweet! So head on over to Forget Me Knot Weddings Blog and see the rest of my photos documenting Danni & Nicholas’ gorgeous wedding! I’m so glad that my first real feature is on her blog, when you head over there you’ll fall in love with her blog too. Trust me!

Enjoy.
