Up In The Air | Travel

I’ve missed having clouds in the sky all summer, so I’ve been happy as a clam this past week. Haven’t some of these sunsets been gorgeous? I hope there’ll be some clouds in the sky tomorrow! I’ll be hopping on a plane tomorrow morning in LA and then I’ll be hopping off a plane tomorrow afternoon in Virginia. I can’t wait for this weekend’s wedding, next week’s shoots and for the rest of my stay in New York & Virginia until the 9th. It’s going to be a good two weeks. I hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day Week/Weekend, I know I will!

As for emails, I’ll be answering a few here and there. So if you’ve yet to hear back from me, just sit tight and it’ll show up! (:

Busyness | Personal

I start my fall semester today. Summer went by way too fast, but I guess it’s a good thing when goals are set and time is flying. I’m looking forward to graduating next year and who knows what else may happen within a year. I’m just focusing on what God has set ahead of me right now. Flying out to Virginia next week and I will finally get time to wind down for a few days… after I shoot a wedding and a handful of other sessions. I am looking forward to some time away… even though I technically should be in classes. It’s okay, it’s just the first two weeks of class. Right?

Here’s a few photos I edited through recently. I’m so thankful for having some of the greatest clients. Really, you all make me love what I do. Hope you like what you see.

Two Year Anniversary | Personal

This past weekend was the two year marker for Reinna & I. There are days where it feels like we haven’t been together that long and days where it feels like we’ve been together longer. I guess it just depends on what day of the week it is. I can’t thank God enough for bringing Reinna into my life and for the way she continues to encourage me in being the man God desires me to be. I wanted to make this anniversary fun and memorable, so I surprised her at 3am and flew her out to San Francisco for the day. The day was filled with things she’s been asking me to do for months now, but we’ve just been so busy this summer.  So once I set aside a weekend just for us and she finally had the day off of work it worked out perfectly. This day was willed with so many surprise blessings that random people did for us that it was just too good to be true.

Again, I can’t thank God enough for how good he is to us both. Thank you Ruby & Danni for helping me out with a few details for this day that turned out so great! You two make a great team! Also, head over to my wonderful girlfriend’s blog to read more about this day and watch a video she made with the zumi I bought her. She’s honestly really good at making videos. I’ve been watching it over and over. Hope you like what you see.

Renegade Craft Fair LA | Personal

Last month I was able to find a free weekend to visit the wonderful Renegade Craft Fair that was being held in Los Angeles. It was good spending some of my free time with friends and meeting so many wonderful new faces while I was at it. If you’ve never been to a craft fair, you’re missing out. It’s the best place to go to support hundreds of local and non-local independent artists. Here’s a few photos I put together from the fair. Hope you like what you see.

Rubyellen from Cakies

Danni from Oh, Hello Friend

Spending the day with these two adorable little girls is always handful, but it’s always a great way to spend my free time.

Sorry if I am slow in replying to emails. I am getting ready for Reinna & I’s 2 year anniversary this weekend. I can’t believe how fast time is flying, but I’m getting a good idea of it because everything is happening this weekend and it’s already Wednesday!  Oh my goodness! Plus editing 6 batches of photos including a 2 weddings is making my planning for this SURPRISE anniversary ordeal a bit more hectic. AND AGAIN, NO REINNA, I WON’T BE PROPOSING TO YOU THIS WEEKEND <3

So, I apologize in advance for the late replies. I promise to get back to emails by next week! Have a wonderful week/weekend everyone!

East Coast Love | Travel

Hello everyone,

I just want to inform those who follow this blog, all of whom I appreciate so very very much, but who specifically live in Virginia about a little something. I will be traveling to the oh so lovely state of Virginia this upcoming September for a wedding I will be shooting. Although the wedding is set for the 4th, I will be in Virginia from the 2nd through the 10th. If there are any families or couples who live in Virginia and  who would be interested in booking a portrait session next month, please feel more than free to email me and inquire about rates and dates. I would love to fill-in the limited amount of sessions that I am offering during my stay to add along side the few that are already in the workings. Hope to hear from you. Hope to work with you.

Have a great rest of the weekend.
